His form has the look of something meant for a public place, as if...The rust-bronze tone of distinctive Kimmirut stone gives this charming fellow the air of a monument. His form has the look of something meant for a public place, as if he could sit high above you on a column or a plinth in a market square. And yet, happily for us, he remains domestic in scale, sized for a shelf or bookcase.
The body is poised, wings held back and feet set together. Atop, the head cocks slightly to one side. With those wide, open eyes, this owl takes on an alert look, as if he has just caught the snap of a branch or the squeak of a lemming somewhere off in the distance.
