The mask is framed with eight bundles of hammered cedar...This red cedar Eagle mask is carved in a Kwakwa̱ka̱ʼwakw style and painted in green, red, yellow, and black pigments. The mask is framed with eight bundles of hammered cedar bark that encircle the mask. Many of the details of this mask are outlined with clean V-cuts that emphasize the two-dimensional design work, especially on the beak and around the cheek areas.
