The mask is carved in red cedar and features Killer Whale and Human imagery on the forehead, while the chin and cheeks, when viewed upside down, form an anthropomorphic, toothed being. The mask is carved in a classic Haida style, with large, well-formed eyes, sharply sculpted features, and perfect symmetry. The mask features a twisted cedar bark rope fringe and is framed by two bundles of hammered cedar bark.
