There is a sense of looking in a mirror, and while you will see yourself, you will also see your family looking back at you, either by the physical or personality traits you have inherited from them. Here, central tattooed faces stare at one another, each silently pondering the connection between them. Much like many of us have likely done at one point or another, there is the feeling that a more stark of a connection or resemblance is there than we may have previously thought. 1. Untitled 1994-1995 can be found in Anna Hudson, Jocelyn Piirainen, and Georgiana Uhlyarik, eds., Tunirrusiangit: Kenojuak Ashevak and Tim Pitsiulak, (Toronto: Art Gallery of Ontario, 2018), p. 85. ProvenanceCollection of John & Joyce Price, Seattle.
