It is little wonder that he co-founded the Triple K Co-op with his brothers Joshim (see lots 49 and 54 of this sale) and Henry, a venture to represent other Indigenous artists and themselves on their own terms. As Goyce and his brothers focused more on making prints of original works, their process ensured that the artists were involved in the printmaking, further allowing the artist's eye to oversee the work. In the present work, Noisy Loon, the wiggles and squiggles are not just visual markers of action on the page; coupled with the arching frame of black, this work was designed to fill a page and lead the eye on a journey through its subject matter.Provenance
