Here, exceptionally tight plain twining reaches approximately 80-95 stitches per square centimetre, with silk-thread floral sprays set between narrow polychrome bands. The lid concentrates its colour in a spiralling pink, pale blue and red knop, while the interior base shifts into delicate concentric bands of openwork twining.
