Like the "Hunter with Readied Spear and Knife" in this exhibition, this work dates from early in this short period of the artist’s career. It too is relatively realistic in its overall look and pose. And interestingly—unlike Tigullaraq’s "Standing Woman Carrying a Seal"—this man looks as if carrying his load is costing him some effort.
